The Arrival of Autumn

It’s that time of year again! Get ready for fall at the BoatHouse! As the temperature drops, warm up with some of our seasonal drinks, dishes, and desserts. Chesapeake Bay inspired favorites, seasonal specialties, and homemade sauces and dressings continue to make BoatHouse one of the best restaurants in Baltimore.

Here are some of our favorites!

Each season the menu changes to keep the selections fresh, seasonal, and exciting. Everyone knows the BoatHouse has one of the best views in Baltimore, but we’re one of the best restaurants for a reason. Here are just a few of our fall favorites:

As the water temperature begins to drop in the mid-Atlantic, the Chesapeake and the surrounding tributaries, local oysters become more flavorful than any other time of the year. Our rotating selection of the best oysters at any restaurant in Baltimore features the locals and favorites from high quality sources. Most importantly, each shuck helps us support the Oyster Recovery Fund here in Baltimore.

Autumn Harvest Salad

Crispy kale with butternut squash, maple walnuts, fresh pomegranates, pumpkin seeds, and an apple cider vinaigrette. All the best tastes of fall with all the freshness of spring.

Portuguese Seafood Stew

A medley of seafood. Can’t make up your mind on which seafood you want? Shrimp, cod, clams, mussels, and calamari simmered in saffron broth and served with a garlic baguette. A little bit of everything good!

Grilled Rack of Lamb

A perfectly tender, dijon herb crusted Rack of Lamb topped with a slightly sweet dried cranberry demi glaze. Served with a side of grilled broccolini and mini potatoes. A suprising, satisfying mix of flavors sure to impress and keep you coming back for more.

Cinnamon Baked Apple Pastry

Enough said.

Did Someone say BBQ?

If you only know BoatHouse as one of the best restaurants in Baltimore for seafood, you’re missing out. With steaks, filets, lamb, and our house smoked BBQ, it’s time to venture out.

Love the crab cakes? Add premium jumbo lump crab meat to our filet mignon with Yukon gold whipped potatoes and house made bordelaise sauce. Love fresh seafood? Try our Cedar Planked Atlantic Salmon or Butter Poached Lobster Tail over butternut squash risotto if you’re looking for something with a home cooked touch. Love some brisket? Stop by each Wednesday for our $8.00 brisket sandwich (house-smoked by our #biggreenegg @cheech_the_smoker) and pair with one of our half-priced whiskeys all night.

If you joined us for our Bourbon and BBQ event on September 1st, you already know about our selection of over 45 whiskeys from around the world. If you haven’t been back, then you haven’t seen the updates.

The temperature may be dropping, but there’s plenty of reasons to stop by the BoatHouse and visit one of the best restaurants in Baltimore for fresh seafood, waterfront cocktails, and so much more!
